Uh it basically takes eighty percent of Iranian oil that flows out into world markets.
And the Chinese have gone to great lengths to help Iran avoid uh
uh US sanctions with shell companies and banks that are designed to sort of launder uh any of the money or any of the d economic dealings surrounding this oil.
So the Iranians are clearly helping uh

The Chinese are clearly helping the Iranian economy stay afloat and at the same time the Chinese are providing weaponry.
Uh.
to uh Iran that is helping Iran wage its war against the United States.
And as I said, the Russians are playing the same game as well.
And I would imagine, Chris, that we don't even know the full extent of what the Chinese and the Russians are doing to help the Iranians.
But the key point you want to keep in mind is that from Iran from China's point of view and from Russia's point of view, it would be a very good thing if the United States either remained pinned down in
the war against Iran, or just lost the war against Iran because it would be a humiliating defeat for the United States.
And that works to Russia's advantage and to China's advantage, given the relationship those two countries have with the United States these days.
It appears that very few, if any, Iranian ships
uh are getting through the blockade the blockade seems to be effective uh
And uh the only counter to that point is that some people argue that the Iranians are taking their oil and they're putting it on Iraqi tankers and those Iraqi tankers are taking Iranian oil out onto global markets uh and selling that oil in places like China.
It's very hard to figure out
whether that's true and if it's true, how much Iranian oil is getting out through those Iraqi tankers.
Uh so it's just im impossible to know uh
from public sources what's going on with regard to the effectiveness of the blockade at stopping all Iranian oil from getting out onto global markets.
