So that's a major part of a new world I've experienced, which is Buddhism.
Like, what is your thought?
Who is thinking?
Who's noticing the thought?
Where is acceptance in all of this?
And I know we're in a building that makes a lot of content around sort of performance and success and being the best.
And that's great.
That drives the economy and that furthers the humankind and makes people successful and gives people a lot of joy.
I guess what I'm trying to do is decouple from that thinking.
What if I'm not the most important person in the world?
What if I'm actually completely insignificant?
That brings me a lot of peace.
Because I don't need things to go my way.
I don't need to win.
I don't need to earn all the money in the world.
I don't need to have the most popular book or podcast or whatever.
I just need to be
And suddenly a lot of those tensions, I can even feel just saying that to you now, my body's relaxing.
But it's all destinations.
It's like creating, and alcohol was the ultimate destination for me because it gave me, it pretended to give me access to a place where I didn't exist.
