Uh what was it like?

It was a couple of months.

I can't think of the exact weeks.

Very t quick turnaround nevertheless.

Very tur quick turnaround, nevertheless, for international travel, etc.

Yeah, so to rewind a little bit, I would say the narrative here is that we underperform based on our expectations for Sheffield.

But at the same time he still did break the world record total.

So there's a difference when you're going into a meet like Sheffield and you set those expectations for yourself.

It is no longer to win, but it's just to do better than the previous version of yourself.

And competing at this stage, the biggest thing that I noticed is if you want to progress your total, you have to reinvent yourself every single time.

So the Anthony McNaughton that showed up yesterday is a completely different version than three years ago, and that is the constant change.

Um so

Yeah, nonetheless, right, like the total that he put up was one of his best totals of all time.

But the thing is he was expecting that thousand plus KG mark.

And there's a difference showing up to the meet, just participating at Sheffield, and then wanting to place in the top three or potentially win.

So I think a lot of that was just a reminder at you know the international stage, the world level, anything can truly happen.

Um and I think that was a good wake-up call as well, too, because for him

him to go to that next mark of just a thousand plus or whatever he wants to accomplish in the future, we have to sharpen his weapons.

It it is no longer a matter of just progressing the total inside the gym, but how well is it going to carry over into competition.

And I think yesterday was a beautiful reflection of that.
