When you first joined Everton, was it apparent to you the size and the unique nature of the club?
Because it is, I really enjoyed my time, I had eight years there.
Did you really enjoy playing for Everton, but you understand the demands, the Everton fans are a very demanding set of fans, aren't they?
And you're lucky enough to play Manchester derbies and Merseyside derbies like I did.
Did you feel a difference between the two derbies?
And I was going to ask you, Julian, about the impact that Carlo Ancelotti has made at Everton.
All the Everton fans I speak to, the players I've spoken to as well, are really, really impressed.
You probably expect it with his CV, his experience as well.
But he came into Everton at a difficult time.
Do you feel that he's on the right track?
He's made them defensively a little bit stronger.
He seems to be, again, developing the way the team want to play.
The fans seem to like the style of football.
Have you been impressed with what Ancelotti's done so far?
So I was looking at the Everton players going into this game where Liverpool could possibly win the title.
Do Everton need that extra incentive that they don't want Liverpool to win the title at Goodison?
Or does that not matter?
Regardless of the circumstances, the Everton players are going to approach this game in the same way.
I was very interested, Julian, to hear what Ruud Gullit had to say about keeping this racist issue front and centre from here on in.
We've had instances in the past where people have talked about it, we've had protests and then things have maybe kind of ebbed away slightly.
