That the two things came hand in hand.

A little bit.

And I knew that I was capable.

I'd been to places that a lot of actors hadn't been.

I'd been in situations that a lot of them had been.

And I'd been capable of things that a lot of them weren't capable of.

And I felt that that was something that I kind of needed.

And yes, July 3rd, 2009, I was in a situation where I was confronted by a group of men.

One of them...

you know, came at my dog and, and, uh, they started to follow me and, um, I fought them.

And, uh, you know, one, one of them got, uh, enormously hurt, seriously hurt.

And, and we weren't sure whether he was gonna wake up.

And, uh,

That led to one of the most profound moments of my life where, you know, I was at the L.A.

County jail, you know, handcuffed to a bench, not knowing which way this was going to go.

And, you know, I've spoken about it before, but, you know, I was I was in a place where.

I was quite aware that we were now being led to a place where all of these things that all of these gifts that I had been given, all of this protection that I had because of my father, all of this unbelievable opportunity of being in trouble.

This wasn't the first time, you know, I've been in trouble a lot and I'd gotten to go to Russia.

I got to be in movies at this point, be on TV shows.

And here I was handcuffed to a damn bench, not knowing if this guy was going to wake up.
