Um a lot of business owners probably um aren't thinking about is my is my s expectation, um, is around what is happening with LLMs.

Um and you know, we're now like a few years into the consumer

uh L LLM discovery era.

Um, you know, arguably maybe three to four years, but at least from some sort of mass market perspective, we're about one to two years in.

Now ChatGPT is approaching a billion monthly active users.

And, you know, the reality is is that like this is going to continue to be a way that consumers

uh search and discover information.

Obviously uh Gemini is is probably leading the pack in terms of utilization, but it's just because of cross um infiltration of Gemini into things like Gmail and now even Google Meets and all these other places that increases the adoption and usage of of that product.

But the reality is like these this experience for discovery is here to stay.

How should local business owners think about it?

How much time and energy should they be putting to showing up in ChatGPT versus showing up in the local pack?

I love this.

In fact, you know, y you and I were both at IO.

We may have differing opinions of the value of this conference and event.

But regardless, one of the things that Google absolutely made very clear is that video and multimodal is going to become more and more relevant in terms of how they're going to serve information and serve context to users who are doing discovery.

Whether it be in Gemini, traditional search, doesn't matter.

Video and multimodal is something that they made very clear.

clear is something they want to continue to push.

This is really hard for local businesses.
