Well, I mean, I would say, like, I felt very lucky in that... It seems cocky to say, but I felt ready for it.

It was very overwhelming.
But I...
I came up in the Second City, and what was interesting about the Second City, which was the sketch comedy, it's sort of an institution.
It's a sketch comedy and improv institution in Chicago that a lot of people came from.
Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell.
And so I toured with the Second City, and there were a couple years where I'm literally watching old,
I love studying old comedy.
We talk about old comedy all the time.
And I would study old improv sets and sketch comedy sets of Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell and Tina Fey and John Glazer and Adam McKay and amazing comedic minds.
And part of the job
at Second City was to study it, learn it, then perform those scenes, but bring your own spin to it and do your own thing.
And so I loved studying it.
