My opinion has been slightly bolstered as an author.
I'm acutely aware of like a declining reading rate, for example, with boys, right?
And I think a massive part of that is they immediately associate reading and words with being examined or like in some cases punished, right?
you know like even even detention is like writing you're making someone hate writing yes because you're making them write something again and again and again or whatever lines whatever that's what we used to do lines so it's like i don't know man i just i i think in school what they're also trying to show is uh or implement order is this idea of order exactly yeah but that's that's not for our benefit order and and regime that's not for our benefit
