I didn't return to it.

I was doing it after school with my gran.

I was writing in places that made me feel happy.

I was learning about writing at a pace and in a way that brought me joy.

At school, we read Capture and Arise, Mice and Men.

We studied that woman who was doing poetry.

I don't know.

It was cool.

I had one teacher who was kind of cool.

No, it wasn't her.

And I sat, you know, mostly I can remember from English just sitting next to a girl I fancy.

That's literally like my biggest memory of English.

And by the way, this was my favourite thing in life, like was words.

And I don't remember even being that compelled by the class.
