when we lost Josh Franco and Nick Stephens and these guys you get other guys that stand up you get a team that stands up and you know we are we're not we're not bound to one player I understand his influence on the games and groups but the bigger picture is that we are a team and everyone has to do their bit and we'll you know Zach's not a part of
But us and our team next year, I've no doubt then players will also grow.
Yeah, we had 100 games since round one, so that was the first game of the year and obviously we were pretty flat with that game, but I've been super pleased with the work that one of the coaches in particular, Luke Webster, has done with the defensive group and then as a team, the collective with the players buying.
We love the challenge of coming up against the best teams in the competition and seeing how we stand up now.
We set out at the start of the pre-season about defensively, that's our foundation to start from and feel like we're building a strong game.
We feel like the rest of our game has obviously still got a lot of improvement in it.
We had a good chat after the game about what it looks like for us as a group and I think at the moment we're just waiting for leaders to stand up and we're trying to wait for Zach to do his thing or Hornet to get going rather than own it ourselves as a group.
So that's experience in some ways for some of the young guys and closing the gap on what our bad looks like to what our good looks like.
