You need to be able to charge for.
But we also know that for consumer distribution, the willingness to pay doesn't always come up front.
You know, in the enterprise world, you can sell to a company and you know, and sometimes convince them that this is going to be valuable for them, and they'll actually pay you on a contract.
Obviously, with a lot of product-led growth, you see this sort of get in the hands of employees before they have to do it.
But even if they want to pay, they can, if they find it valuable, they can find ways to expense that service.
So they don't necessarily need to think about it as paying out of their own pocket.
On the consumer side.
It is all going to be ways that we need to figure out how to subsidize the inference, having consumers pay for that on the plus side.
With the rise of mobile gaming, the rise of subscriptions, consumers are much more used to paying for digital things than they were 10 or 15 years ago, let alone twenty or thirty years ago.
You know, they are willing to pay for things that are valued, you know, through Apple's App Store, through Google Play, through just online subscriptions with all the different tools out there now.
When people hit a certain level of engagement with a product, asking them to pay isn't the same, you know, hand to the face that it used to be.
It's now very much an invitation.
If this is finding you value, it's costing us money.
On the other hand, we need the cost to come down.
with what's going on with
Um AI with inference, being able to switch models, having open source models.
We're seeing
just the beginning of how much cheaper you can actually build these things.
And I think over the next couple of years, we're going to intersect with how much cheaper these can get to build and serve, with how much customers are willing to pay for things that are of value or entertainment for them.
And I think we're going to be at the right intersection point where you'll be able to bring in both ad models, purchase models, subscription models, and fund the cost of inference.
