And yeah, my career started off slower.

Like I came off the bench for Adelaide.

I wasn't playing a whole lot of minutes early on.

And then, yeah, it slowly ramped up as the season went on.

But yeah, that first game, I remember Melbourne, we got smashed at home.

But yeah, I was just excited to be out there for my first one.

Well, it's a long process.

I think from the point of we are at Adelaide when I was playing, we got knocked out of playoff contention.

So we kind of, me and the general manager, we all agreed it was best to shut my season down and start preparing for the draft because it was in two or three months after that.

And

Preparing for the draft, what does that mean?

Well, that means starting to ramp up.

I had to get over to America because I had to do workouts with teams.

So they have a thing called the NBA Combine.

which is similar to the AFL.

You do all your vertical.

And I didn't go to that.

I skipped it because I thought for me, that environment is not good for who I am as a player.

They play pickup games where they play five on five and players will get out there and play.

And that type of game is just not who I am as a player.
