But when I came to Oklahoma, I prepared as if my trainer was going to work me out again.

But he didn't.

Oklahoma came in.

They wanted to run the workout.

So I'm like, oh, God.

Anyway, the head coach ran the workout.

And...

Yeah, it went well.

I played, shot well, worked out well, and they had the sixth pick.

And at the time, I wasn't projected to go anywhere near that high.

No one had me going top 10, barely.

And when draft night came around, I still had no idea where I was going to go.

I thought I could go anywhere from pick six, which is Oklahoma, to pick 20, which I don't even know who that was.

So where are you on draft night?

So yeah, so probably three days before draft night, we're in LA and we fly into New York and all the players stay at the same hotel.

And it's a madhouse in there.

There's this media and all types of people are there.

And I'm there with my family, my agent, PR people.

We're all staying in the same hotel.
