Yeah, a lot's changed.
Obviously, when I got into the NBA, all I wanted to do was stay in there.
I wanted to just play my role, stay in the NBA.
And I never envisioned it to get into this point where I'll be able to get it.
Everyone plays for their second contract.
I think that's the big thing when you get drafted.
You want to get that second deal, then that third deal, and you want to stay in the league.
And
When I got drafted, that was the only thing I wanted to do was play my role and get a new contract so I could have a new set of years in the NBA.
I never really envisioned myself playing the role that I play now and being able to have the kind of impact that I do.
It is a surreal thing.

I've always, and I've always never let it get to me.
You know, I've always...
I've been very, very confident in who I am as a player.
I've always listened to the voices that are close to me.
And, yeah, Chicago, you know, they want to get back to winning.
