Oh, well, well, well.

Because I saw Rock Jalowski six times.

I saw him in Arlington for that college series tournament against the three SEC teams.

And I went to Omaha to cover the Big Ten tournament and saw him there.

And in the second half this year, his swing decisions were problematic for me.

And I think that he was chasing too many pitches in the outside corner.

Lo and behold, he comes to Chicago, meets with Ryan Fuller.

A 45-minute lunch becomes a two-hour lunch, and the White Sox have a game plan.

I have a lot of confidence that the Chicago White Sox will make Rock Cholowski a much better hitter than UCLA can.

So I am excited on that front to see what the White Sox can do.

And Landon told me I saw him three times this year.

He had a home run in two of those three games.

The question I have is...

His dad was also a six foot, 185 pound shortstop drafted out of high school.

Is Landon Tomey going to have another growth spurt?

And if he does and he grows up like his dad did, well, then he's not a shortstop, but he could be another left-handed power hitter for the White Sox.

And I also like Cole Prosek as well, who they took 41st overall.

I thought the White Sox had a really strong draft.

I think it's in the realm of possibility.

I just don't want to put the cart before the horse because if I go on here and say this was the best draft ever in five years from now, none of these guys are major leaguers, so I look like an idiot.
