If anything, I think the start in AAA would be able to light a fire more under him to show like, hey, I had something to prove and he did.

And now look, when players get traded, you can look at that as like, yeah, this is great for me.

So it can kind of give you a little bit of a mood booster as well.

But Spencer Higgety,

The thing about him is he hides that baseball so well, and it comes out of his hands so fast and electric that he's just got to throw strikes.

That seems to be a thing.

Throw strikes, get everything out of the middle of that zone, which sounds very cliche for every pitcher because that's what you want to do anyway.

But when you break things down, this guy lives at the top of the zone with his fastball, and he needs to work that curve out of that same arm slot to get the chase pitch down.

And he just hasn't been able to do that for the better part of over a month.

Yeah, I mean, I think there's no more crutches for Emai to lean on.

I mean, when he came out, it was bad.

I mean, it was just so bad because everything, again, was center cut over the plate.

And then if it wasn't in center cut, it was nowhere near.

So guys were able to lock in.

And watching him last night, that's the guy they signed.
