So things like that, I think affect our ability to make decisions that are good for the community.
And the public cannot say things like you're not working in the interests of the residents.
It would be great if all the residents thought alike and we'd say, oh, of course we are or we are not.
But when we take one position, there's always another position,
are completely contrary.
And so it's a little ridiculous to say, you know, why did we vote for you and you don't respect the position of the residents without this person or person's understanding that for every one position that he or she holds, there's another position, maybe equally valid or maybe not, but there is another position.
And I think sometimes we put too much emphasis on

I haven't seen the kind of... I've been on the other end of that.
Article, newsletter, people... Fake publications that pop up out of nowhere.
That's different.
People do all kinds of things on Nextdoor, as you mentioned, social media and so on.
But to come up and say, you know, if you vote for me, if you vote on this way, on this issue, you will face the consequences at the next election.
No, you probably get more than most people.
Maybe ability to listen to each other and appreciate a contrary position.
Yeah.
Uh, I think, um, an efficiently run meeting, um, has a lot going for it and, and sometimes, uh, often, you know, the grandstanding, uh,
and just the ability to not be concise or stay on the topic sort of comes in the way of running an efficient meeting.
Support efficient meetings.
