So that's why it took longer than they maybe should have.

As far as the team goes, I think we shape up pretty good.

I mean, obviously we had a good year last year, won the division.

Didn't work out for us in the postseason, but we're bringing a lot of the same guys back and having some new good pieces.

So I'm excited for this year.

That difference in value, is that something you just brush aside now?

I mean, I know you've been at different points in your career, maybe where you've had, I don't want to say acrimonious negotiations, but maybe disagreements.

Like how does that, you know,

you resigned for three years.

So obviously like you came to an agreement, but how do you, I mean, it can be kind of a weird thing, right?

Yeah.

I don't know.

I'm in a weird spot where like, for me, it sucks that like the catchers, in my opinion, catchers are just undervalued in this game as far as contracts and dollars go.

Um, I, I truly believe it's, you know, one of, if not the most important position on the field.

And, uh, so like, I just enjoy fighting for that.

Like I believe in that value and, um,

the Phillies did for a long time ago.

I mean, I know they believe in it as well.

It's just the dollars look different.
