Between twenty twenty and twenty twenty-five, twenty-three c traffic calming projects that proceeded to a ballot.

Of those thirteen, only fifty-six percent were si were were unsuccessful.

So fifty-six percent were unsuccessful.

Ten of them were unsuccessful due to non-responses, meaning that fewer than fifty percent.

Basically they did they didn't make the cutoff, right?

Um they didn't get enough votes and unfortunately a no vote a no not voting counts as a no vote, unfortunately.

So the idea is to extend the time for communities to be able to vote and you know get their neighbors informed about this and extend the time to vote.

Um I actually have had since I've been in office five traffic calming measures and I believe

So you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think four of them failed at the vote because they just weren't able to have enough time to get their neighbors to vote.

Um and I do also appreciate the two-year window to bring it back versus five because I have asked I've had questions from folks who wanted to bring back traffic calming and I had to tell them no because you have to have um you have to have a five year waiting period.
