Madam Chair.
Uh the short answer to that is yes.
Um we are seeing that we have, you know, aggressive behavior, speeding violations and things like that that are happening in the rural districts as well as in our more um denser areas.
So we can sew with V dot regularly.
Um and because a lot of these roads are V dot maintained roads, um, we have to be in consultation with them.
So we try to work in partnership with them.
Um if they do have a difference of opinion, then we'll sit down at the table and try to work those things out.
But um we've had a pretty good ongoing relationship with them so it has allowed us to be able to move forward with some things that they may have had differences differences in opinion.

Um, staff could you describe the genesis of this item?
Um yeah, a couple things, Supervisor Brisman.
So um we've had approximately over the past five years about twenty-three projects that we've initiated.
Uh and approximately about ten of those, uh I think actually thirteen of those were unsuccessful um because they did not meet the fifty one percent, fifty are above threshold.
So to give um residents, neighborhoods, uh how uh HOAs more time.
um to be able to crowd their neighborhoods to be able to talk and uh get more information.
We thought it would be prudent to allow for just additional time.
