So yeah, it's really promising.

I'm just really looking forward to seeing them moving forward now onto the game against Holland.

For me, all these girls are playing abroad.

They're playing fully professional in the UK, in the French League, the US and so on and so forth.

And they're playing against top opposition week in, week out.

they're able to play at this level now.

They're more confident.

And I think under Carla, it's what, nearly a year, year and a half that she's there, that they have kind of gelled more as a group.

So I think it still doesn't fix the problem with the grassroots in Irish football.

Yeah look I think obviously Carla tried a different formation that night and it didn't work and she didn't try and just kind of keep going with that like she did adjust to it and she adapted and like as a team we have been our best with the five at the back and it just showed again last night so the girls are more comfortable in that with the personnel that we have and I think that's

We just have to work with the personnel that we do have and that seems to be our strongest.

So yeah, I think that's how we'll go moving forward.

As Sue said,

Previously, we probably didn't have the legs up top to have the counter attack, but the girls now were top class professional athletes, like fit as, like they can go for 90 plus minutes.

So we have that now in our kit bag, but previously we probably wouldn't have, we just would have sat back and just kept taking wave after wave.

So now we're a threat up top and there was so much space behind the French defence last night.

And I think Caruso and Emily Murphy just showed that and they really, really took them apart.

I think so.

The underage girls are in a much better place than what they were a couple of years ago.

And people are now playing professional football as their daily job.
