I mean, it's like we can't get through a day without using an executive function skills.
And generally with our differently wired kids, and all everybody, everybody's got skills, executive functioning skills.
skills that are real they have strengths in and then other areas where there's weakness, right?
So they can't they tend to be divided up.
I mean, I don't h I don't normally see a kid that's like in all there's eleven kind of
executive functioning skills.
I don't see a kid that comes in with like all eleven wiped out.
It's like I've got some that I'm doing really well and I've got others that are more challenging for me.
Yes.
And so where we historically see this, I mean, where this really pops up.
So executive functioning skills actually start as as young as six to twelve months.
I mean, our emotional control and our flexibility, our emotional control and our attention develop at six, you know, six to twelve months.
Our flexibility develop between twelve and twenty-four months.
So these are skills that are being developed over time.
Um, those higher ones like task initiation and organization.
and time management, they start in preschool and go through elementary.
But where we see executive functioning really come into play, um, you'll see it, I think, I I see I tend to see it starting in third and fourth grade with kids who are differently wired.
Like you you'll start to see some issues pop up and generally for kids that are in schools, teachers will say, oh, everybody's going through this right now.
Um, it's fine.
