Sea surface temperatures, a little cooler there, and we just aren't looking for a whole lot of development, at least in the Atlantic, but that's not the case in the Pacific, right?

That's right.

Uh we have seen that in the past and if the system kind of falls apart.

crossing land it would get a new name once it is in the uh Atlantic basin, but uh certainly

Uh we're looking at the conditions not favorable for that this go around with this system that we're watching.

You can see the probabilities from the National Hurricane Center uh continue to grow with both of these systems.

So uh I think it will be a bit of a concern for the fish out there because we are looking at this mainly just being a fish storm uh once it does develop.

This is a suite of our forecast models, some of the tropical models that we use showing.

Showing that motion to the west and eventually turning to the north and west.

And with that, water temperatures are a lot cooler.

We're not anticipating this to be a big major system according to our European model.

Again, another global model that we use here, one of the more reliable ones.

And you can see the circulation well defined there as it moves off to the north as we head into the upcoming weekend, but again, staying offshore from the Baja California area.

So the Pacific Basin actually has a separate name of uh a list of names and

And uh you can see Boris is up next, followed by Christina and Douglas and well, I guess it would be actually Alita.

Like that would be the name that would be the next name on the list 'cause we've actually gone through uh the dename storm in the Pacific Basic. 'Cause they get a faster start in the Pacific.

Yes, it is an earlier start to the season there.

And it's interesting because we don't we're not looking at a whole lot of activity in the Atlantic basin due to all the factors we just mentioned.

The El Nino, sea surface temperatures are a lot cooler.
