What was it like when you met up with your birth mother?

Crazy.

Yeah, I just sent her this really cute little photo of Amanda and I at about three and five, you know, dressed the same, holding hands, looking adorable.

And I said, look, I think that I was born on this date, my sister was born on this date, I think you're my birth mother.

I just want you to say we're both happy and successful.

She's a teacher, she's married in Japan.

I'm a performer, I'm broke as shit, but...

But, you know, I'm happy I have, I think at that stage I was going out with Dan.

No, actually it was way before Dan.

But I was like, I'm happy we're both happy and healthy.

We had a great upbringing.

So if you don't want anything to do with it, that's absolutely fine.

This is just to say thank you so much.

And then about a week or two later, maybe three, I got a call at Verona.

And I went out the back stairs and spoke to my birth mother for the first time, you know.

And she was very trepidatious because she had a husband and two more daughters who knew nothing.

Her husband actually did know, but her two daughters who knew nothing.

And I was very quick to say, that's fine.

I don't... That's fine.
