So a prosecution presents evidence and testimony periodically for approval, and jurors can ask questions and request specific evidence or witnesses.
And when the prosecutors present a completed case, the jury votes on whether or not to indict.
And if they decline, the prosecution can start over with a new grand jury.
It's a whole process.

called to be on a grand jury it could be like four months that you're we actually did have some listeners on a past episode comment that they were a part of a grand jury yeah because i think i mentioned how my friend was on one and he was literally on it for four months he got called for jury duty and was gone for four months and i think some people in the comments were like that happened to me too can you imagine four months no was he sequestered uh yeah the whole time
And it was really petty stuff, too, that he was on.
I think there was maybe one murder, but most of it was like just small stuff that they were just reviewing.
Four months is insane.
I would crash out.
