So she drives over with Michael.
She gets a key from the landlady and she goes inside her sister's apartment.
But there is no sign of Anne-Marie anywhere.
There's just a messy apartment reeking of garbage that should have been taken out days ago.
And that's really when Kathleen knows that something is wrong because Anne-Marie never leaves her apartment a mess.
Friends literally call her anal Annie because she's so strict about cleaning.

And that's when Kathleen calls the police and reports Anne-Marie as a missing person.
Afraid that they're not going to take the report seriously enough, though, she calls the Delaware Secretary of State, which she knows through Anne-Marie's work.
And after hearing about her disappearance, the governor sends his own security detail.
In fact, they actually arrive on scene before the police.
And it turns out everyone is taking this disappearance very seriously, but no matter how hard they look.
No one will ever see Anne-Marie again.

So Anne-Marie Sinead Fahey was born in Wilmington, Delaware on January 27th, 1966.
Everyone in Wilmington knew the Faheys.
They were this big, boisterous Irish Catholic family.
Her mom, who was also named Kathleen, was a former secretary turned full-time mother, and her dad, Robert, was an insurance salesman.
