And then there's other jobs where you just like.

want to gab all day and like go out to drinks with everyone afterwards.

But I guess it also just depends on the job you have.

Gareth suspected his social habits were holding his career back despite his excellent work, though, and he felt like he was just stuck in a rat race.

In April of 2010, at 31 years old, he asked to return to GCHQ early.

MI6 took months to respond, but eventually they did approve his request and

Gareth called his old landlady in Cheltenham.

The apartment over her garage was still available, so he said he would take it.

And he planned to move back in on September 3rd.

But just 10 days before he was due back in Cheltenham, Gareth Williams was found dead in a padlocked bag inside of his own bathtub.

And really from here, the story only gets stranger.

Now, back on Monday, August 23rd, 2010, Constable Gallagher had a strong suspicion about who was in this bag, but he couldn't confirm it alone.

So he had to call for backup, and the cavalry arrived fast.

MI5 agents showed up.

Detectives from the London Metropolitan Police Counterterrorism Unit blocked off the entire street to sweep it for devices.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Sutton was the most senior officer on the scene, and after he arrived, they were able to cut open the bag.
