So it's not so much difficult as it is, let's say, time-consuming on both ends.
You know, going through a family governance exercise or project does require commitment from family members, time, energy, you know.
talking about things that we're not usually comfortable talking about.
So yeah, it's not easy, but it's necessary.
Yeah, look, yes, every family can do it.
It is different for every family.
And so success in some cases may be a lot more progressive and maybe slower than for others.
Some families come to us and they're ready to go.
They've had the internal conversations.
They're ready to enter into a facilitated discussion to understand what it is they're trying to achieve, make the implicit explicit and go forward from there.
Other families, it's a little bit more sort of baby steps, if you like.
So the first thing is to get patriarch and matriarch on the same page.
And so there's some conversations there.
What I do know from experience is that family members who are not ready to start this process will not commit to it.
So there is a lot of coaching and guiding and finding those elements of every single family member being able to contribute and what are the things that drive them and building that into the process as well.
Yes, yes.
You do feel like you're a therapist sometimes, but it goes both ways as well.
It's so rewarding to see, you know, families achieve what they had set out to achieve without, you know, at the start of the process, a lot of them can't even articulate what they want to achieve.
