I wouldn't be panicking at all.

I didn't think Newcombe had his best night.

I didn't think Ward had his best night.

I didn't think their rucks had their best night.

They didn't get anything from McDonald, who's been really strong, pinch-hitting through the midfield this year.

I didn't think it was Moore's best night.

So there's some upside there, but I wouldn't be panicking and reacting overly to that loss last night.

They did a lot of things right in the first half.

Got to look after Gunston.

I think you mentioned that a week or so ago.

He's left the ground in a moon boot.

Now, you know, kick five in the first half, six for the game.

I thought Cox played him a lot better than Ryan.

It was an awful matchup.

Luke Ryan early.

They made the right move and thought Cox changed his positioning, played more in front and did a really good job.

But

You don't need Gunston to be playing every game.

I know he wants to win Coleman's and get another All-Australian and potentially a best and fairest, but you need him humming at the back end, and he looked really sore leaving.

So there's a bit of caution there around the way that they manage this squad so that they're humming late in September.
