Is a poet that has always been um profoundly committed to uh that sense of poetry as something that is not for the individual but is uh in connection with a kind of uh responsibility to the world.
Um he has been very uh outspoken about Russia's war in Ukraine, about uh many important political uh moments.
Um and yes, so I'm I'm proud to be associated with that.
There is a kind of real moral and political seriousness in his work.
which um I find powerful and uh necessary.
Well you're right, we all translate all of the time.
Um
uh it's it's um yeah no, just in the kind of uh
micro movements and the situations.
We're understanding everything.
We're translating it all the time.
So you're absolutely right.
But I think
Um that actually uh art
Um
puts it onto another level and every artist is actually translating, whether it's uh uh from a uh you know an idea, an image, a sound, a line, um that then uh you know rises within them and then has to find expression.
