Uh and he says that he he has one, no, he has two, no, he has three.

Um no, I mean I I laughed sort of writing that because of course I teach translation theory and I I hope my students won't look at that sometimes.

Translation theories are a very helpful way to talk about translation, um and to make sense of some of the things that people do.

So from that side I I you know, I've got a lot from it and um

i it's a tool which allows you to say quite a lot about certain things.

And there have been great recent

uh translators uh like Emily Wilson, her uh you know, her Homer, and where she talked about feminist translation.

There are those moments when people really

define something about translation.

But actually, I mean, I was genuine.

Um, when you're there with the text, I none of that matters, I think.

It's about you and the text.

And it it just y you know, there's no reckoning with how visible or invisible you're gonna be or what your
