It would just be to continue what we've always done in this family.

And so her mom says to her at the very end of the session, she says, I know this is the part that you needed the most.

I do want to get my apologies in before the session is done.

And I know I've only got a minute or so left.

The apology and my remorse is so important.

But what was more important was giving you your sanity, was giving you the validations as to what happened so that you know that what you did was the healthiest thing you could do for yourself, your partner and your own children and your future grandchildren.

And so Riley sat there and said, I feel heartbroken that mom didn't make different decisions, but I'm grateful today that she's willing to say those things to me so that, so that where I'm standing in the decisions I'm making, I can feel, I don't remember Kelly, if she said happier, but like to that point content, because I don't know that she actually got to full happiness yet.

So we finished the session and at the very end, I said to her, did you want the resources?

And she said, yes, if you have any.

And I just said to her, there's a book called Rejected, Shamed and Blamed by Rebecca Mandeville.

And she has a YouTube channel that's fantastic.

And her entire channel, well, I shouldn't say entire, a lot of her channel is on FSA, which is Family Scapegoat Abuse.

And Riley said to me, I will look into it.

Thank you.

And I didn't have any time to explain anything about family scapegoat abuse.

I just gave her the resource and she was happy.

And I'd like to share that with everybody because you and I are big on people leaving our show with the messages that they can relate to and resources to change and to grow from.
