She would go to one daughter and say, you know, she's going to be making Thanksgiving dinner and her baking is horrible.
Just horrible.
It's going to be a disaster.
And that would be it.
And then that daughter's message was, you better make a dessert.
So then both of them are making desserts.
And now the first daughter who got bullied into the cooking, Riley, or her sister at different times, would then wonder why the other sister's doing a dessert when she made the dessert.
And why nobody would eat her dessert, even though she went through the entire bother of making it.
And everybody else ate the sister's dessert.
not knowing that mom was orchestrating the whole thing and the other sister not wanting to say anything for fear of if I say anything out loud, that will anger mom.
So there were a lot of systems set up so that the two sisters couldn't communicate with each other to understand what was going on.
And Kelly, I said to her mom, like, did this go on just till they hit teenagers?
Did this go on just till they hit their 20s?
Like, as they went through changes in life and went into the workforce, did they figure all this out?
And she said, no, they never figured it out.
Pardon me.
Riley figured it out in her 60s.
Her sister did not.
And I said, did they figure it out before you died or after you died?
And she goes, well, the one daughter never figured it out.
