And so we knew it was going to take a while to get dad across that line.
But this is the funny thing with dad.
We're always like it starts out with he would argue against it.
Like we'll say something and he'll completely argue against it.
But the more you talk about it, eventually he just listens.
He won't argue anymore.
He'll just listen.
And then he gets to the point where he starts agreeing and he starts talking with.
So I think we fast-tracked that process a little bit.
So we did all of that stuff in the background, did all the visas and everything that needed to be done.
And we started talking about it.
Not that I was going, but there's a possibility that it might be quite nice.
And I don't think we told him until about a month before I left, like, no, this is actually happening now.
And for that first two or three years, whenever mum would miss me or I'd be homesick or anything, he would just be like, no, you wanted to send her there, you guys decided to do this, so don't sulk and cry about it now.
But I mean, he's one of my biggest supporters now.
He wouldn't want it any other way, so he's proud of me.
He supported me, don't get me wrong.
He was a bit in two minds about the whole thing, but he supported me regardless.
And now that, you know, there's some success story behind it, yeah, I guess he's pretty proud.
Yeah, look, to be honest, everybody's got a dream.
