But it's character building.
I mean, I wouldn't take that back for anything.
I learned a lot about myself and what it costs to be where I am.
And then, I guess, after the studies, it just turned into work placements.
I built the right connections.
The place where I studied offered me a job, so...
But, yeah, it was a tough first five years in New Zealand.
Yeah, they put more money on their home loan.
They put more money on the mortgage, and I think Dad...
I think he approached one of his mates or something who's a massive supporter of me too um and so I mean still paying those off really yeah yeah it was a big amount um so and that's why whenever I can however I can um I support whichever way possible they they don't like asking for help ever um but that's a great thing I think I was talking to my mum this morning as well
Our family are quite tight-knit, and we're happy to help wherever we can.
We never ask, but we always offer.
And I'm quite fortunate to be in that situation.
I know there's a lot of people that don't have those kind of family situations.
So, yeah, I love them to bits.
Oh my gosh.
That's why it's so amazing that those kind of decisions only happen once.
And again, it goes back to me, the way things are supposed to happen, it will happen.
As long as I put my best effort forward and I do the best I can...
