If I came to you when you were three years in and said, Jesus, Kathleen, you need to be grateful for all you had together, you'd say, fuck off.

I do retreats for spousal loss.

Weekend retreats.

I know.

Not everyone knows and that's OK.

But they are.

Oh, my God.

And I hate talking about it on the podcast because it sounds like I'm trying to advertise it.

I'm not like because people come if they come and that's it.

But in particular, spells of loss, I think there's such a loneliness there.

And the reason why I set it up is because my poor sister, when her husband died, before she died, she was so young, like you say, she was 35, two small boys, her husband died.

And I always remember her like she was like a lost little lamb going around the place.

on her own or even if she had to she was only alive for a year after he died but if she had to go to a wedding or something she was like I'm like a fucking spare thumb and she even that you know lining up for the picture and I just always and then I got into this work I set up a community but I started to come across women and men and I used to keep saying oh if only she could have met you I always remember the first four I met this beautiful girl from Sligo she's been on my podcast her husband died in a car crash

And I go, oh my God, my sister would have loved you.
