And of course, you do not let your kids be absolutely abhorrent behaviour.

But when you understand what's changing, you can go, oh man, like we just said about the facial recognition.

If they go, you're always angry with me and you hate me and they storm off.

They did see you as angry.

And it's highly likely when they come back, we could have a wee chat and go, do you know what?

I wasn't actually angry with you, hon.

And you saw my face wrong, but next time can we try that differently or whatever?

Next time it'll probably happen again because they are going through the changes.

But yeah, let's not think we have to fix it then to fix it as an adult.

It is a transition and it's going to be bumpy.

Yeah, probably the only, I mean, there's obviously so much to understand, but probably the other two that really, when people respond back is, and I am going to use male and female, but I'm talking about testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and it's not all exact, but you've just got to use those terms.

And so it's more likely when boys hit puberty that they have to prove their status.

They're the hunters, they're the people that go out and fight and stuff, and so they need to know hierarchically if they're stronger, faster, better than other males.

And so you ask if you've got a teenage boy what he's pumping at the gym and what everybody else is, and he'll know who the fastest in the class is.

And it's really important for them, and we often go, oh, no, no, it doesn't matter.

You are the best.

Well, no, actually, they're not the best.
