Uh, three years in, I kind of hit a tipping point with my current job and I wasn't very happy.

I was more of a generalist and I wanted to be a specialist.

There were, you know, instances in my, in my life that made me pursue private practice.

And I'm, and I'm very happy that I did because, you know, I'm two years down the road now.

And, uh,

I'm happier than I've ever been professionally and personally.

So, so yeah, so private practice was always in my mind and, you know, so, so it wasn't necessarily an aha moment.

I love that.

So starting a private practice earlier in my career was very nerve wracking.

I've had a lot of, you know, that classic imposter syndrome that I'm sure we all have, no matter how many years of experience you have.

You know, I felt, am I, you know, I'm not a businesswoman.

How am I supposed to start a business?

I'm just a clinician.

Right.

But you work through it.

You you learn things you can learn on the job and things that you don't know as well.

You can outsource to other people.

Right.

I mean, I don't I don't know how to do bookkeeping and accounting.

So I got an accountant, you know, and you know, there were some other things that I learned how to do.
