Look for the PT and OT groups that don't have speech pathology because they're probably looking for someone to refer out to.

Home health is the obvious one, right?

Because outpatient is the next step in care.

So find some other home health speech pathologists to speak about with your private practice.

Also, acute care.

So you can get people who come in for modified barium swallow studies.

And they might refer out for for outpatient therapy.

So that's that's a useful thing as well.

But just in general, talking about your private practice is something that is so important.

I met a speech pathologist.

I met her once.

I told her about my private practice.

And almost two years later, I got a call from a referral coordinator from a local hospital saying, oh, so and so told me about you and we have a patient for you.

And I hadn't spoken to her in like a year and a half.

And that's just to show you that you can plant those seeds.

Right.

And, you know, they could turn around a couple of years later.
