You never know.

Yeah, so you hit the nail on the head.

I am not a pushy person at all.

I'm a very passive person.

I'm introverted.

So it was a struggle to get used to talking about myself and about my private practice because it was just uncomfortable for me, but you get used to it.

And also I switched my mindset and I realized that, okay, the people that I'm talking to

are interested in my services, I can help them.

I can help them serve their patients better, or I can help them directly by treating them.

So, you know, when I go into support groups, I will talk about how speech therapy can help you.

And then at the end, I say, you know, and I have a private practice, I can come into your home.

And if you feel like anything that I just listed is relevant to you, you know, I always recommend doing speech therapy.

And just leaving it like that.

And it's definitely something that you get used to.

I'm not going to lie.

I may have looked in the mirror many times and said, you know, hi, I'm Katie.

I have a private practice.

And that was as silly as it sounds, but it was definitely very helpful.
