And he's like, this actually helped me.

He got access to these brilliant offensive minds.
And now he's an offensive coordinator and he's a hot head coaching candidate.
He may be a head coach in a couple of years.
And the NFL has just ended that.
Yeah, it's really hard not to look at that and jump to a bunch of conclusions of what this means long-term or even short-term future for the NFL and its stance on inclusive hiring and all that.

we had been working on the story for so long that things were changing, you know, as we're doing it.
And so we had this thing done and, you know, we were waiting a couple of weeks to like find the right time to publish it.
And I just, on Monday, I went back to the Football Ops website because I'm looking at our, on our preview link and I'm like, let me make sure all these things that we linked to are still working.
So I click on the link to the Rooney Rule where we were talking about how they had changed the description of it and how they had removed some of the specific language about how it was intended to increase hiring of minorities.
They had removed that and made it a lot softer, weaker language.
And so I clicked on that link to come to find out that that
link doesn't even exist anymore and I'm like wait a second this whole website looks different so I'm navigating all the tabs trying to find if they had moved it somewhere I don't see it anywhere so I reach out to the league and the league tells me yeah you know we redesigned the football operations website we're actually in the process of migrating the Rooney rule information
to a new home somewhere on the NFL site.
They've said it wouldn't be on the football operations site because it doesn't really fit there with the rest of the stuff on that site.
They want to find a new home for it.
