There's two income earners.
It can't always be on the parent to do everything in the house.
And it could be clean the dishwasher, garden things, whatever it is.
I do think it's important to build in that little bit of work ethic early, and in return you get that money.
But I'd actually go a step further, and this is whether you're into chores or not, I would do this anyway.
As your child gets older and you're ready to move to the more digital side of things, or it's just handier for the digital side.

Go by giving them their pocket money for chores or otherwise and go and maybe be a little bit, I'm gonna say this tentatively, a bit more generous than what you might think.
But there's rules attached to it.
For example, they make sure to pay for their mobile phone bill every month out of this money.
If they want particular clothes or something like that, they have to pay for it.
