Um I think I'll start with uh in response to the feedback what I would consider missing from this for clarification.

Strategy one that talks about preventative measures uh is largely unaddressed in the ongoing work or the possible work to head.

And I think when we look at preventing hopeless uh homelessness for city residents who are at risk, I don't see that pending right now.

What I want to know specifically about that sentence is is that limiting that effort to current city residents only, and then how are we defining at risk right now?

Again, we talk a lot about visible homelessness, but it's the prevention that's going to change our future.

And so I think that certainly I don't want to say encampments, all of this is absolutely necessary, but when we look at what's happening for the next generation and 30% of this demographic in Santa Clara being youth or families with young people, what are we doing to prevent this going forward?

Inequity is a huge part of homelessness right now.

And as we notice, the disparity between people of color and unhoused situations is huge.

So however, I don't think that that was addressed in terms of the specificity of how we are responding to that.

Um I think it would lend itself to a question about

Do we have any racial equity metrics when we talk about our interventions right now?

Are we able to say, did we serve people not equitably but in s the same ratio to which we see the disparities occur?

And then I think general questions, you know, as we talk about the dignity of people and um these efforts that we're making, uh as we've seen in some of our um our housing, when problems arise, I'd like to better understand the county and the developer relationship and what formal agreements exist right now um in order to hold uh parties accountable and make sure that what we're offering as a a space for dignity.
