So like that doesn't just impact Rockstar and their bottom line, it's gonna surge console sales, which is probably why we're not seeing the prices drop at all for uh certain consoles and GTA.

And it also means that like no developers can release games around this time, like in the months after, like even like right up to Christmas, into the new year, when there might be sales on and stuff like that.
Yeah, so like I mean PC gaming is still a preference of a lot of people because you do have a lot more control over things depending on what kind of games you play.
I know I mentioned that I got the Steam Machine earlier and like for full transparency I paid for that myself.
So none of this is an advertisement.
And I've been a Steam user on my own computer for probably about eight or nine years at this stage, maybe more, maybe ten years.
But Steam first came out uh in two thousand and three.

Created by Valve, which is a company that made like the Left for Dead series, which are so good still to this day, they still like it's still so fun, the co-op.
Within ten years of launch, Steam was the largest PC game distribution platform and took over a seventy five percent share of the market.
Even while they do have a sort of monopoly, they just don't abuse it.
They are really well known for like
consumer protections, huge discounts, and a general community ethos.
Like there's a lot of people who create mods for games that like you wouldn't get on PlayStation or uh Xbox or anything like that.
Like there's like things are way more customizable.
