It's a tale as old as time.
So I think in general...
the humanity of children is not respected at all.
Like this is a conversation that has come up a lot on the internet as well, is that like a lot of people think, and me included, that children should be allowed to vote and that like all the arguments against children voting are nearly identical to the arguments that were against women voting.
Like, oh, they'll just vote what their parents want them to vote or like what their husband wants them to vote or
I honestly think 12-year-olds should be allowed to vote.
That might be controversial.
But I think once you're doing CSPA or like... Like, what harm could it possibly have?
Like, a 12-year-old's life is going to be more affected by the next 10 years than...
than a 95-year-old.
And I'm not saying 95-year-olds shouldn't be allowed to vote.
They should.

I honestly think younger kids, they have skin in the game when it comes to democracy.
That's a whole other conversation in itself.
But I think these kind of laws can be very punitive to kids because they're not productive in the traditional sense.
They can't go out and earn money and...
spend money and whatever, you know, that's at the root of why a lot of their humanity is stripped away from them in these conversations.
