We think he will be healthy in time to play regular season games.
He was good when he played prior to getting injured, so I don't think we can have him as part of the reason that we're not happy with our goaltending.
Akira Schmid, we're fortunate to have had him because he's been a good backup for us and he's
he's played pretty well.
So it needs to be better.
But, you know, you asked the question, you know, can we win without that part of our team improving?
I think it will get better.
And I think our team will get better.
That's how we feel.
One of the things I didn't mention at the top, if we didn't feel this was a real good team, we probably would have just let things play out.
But we think we have a really good team.
And we wanted to try to do what we could do to give that team the best chance.
I don't think our guys need to be embarrassed about it at all, quite frankly.
And I really like our leadership group.
You know, we've had some really good players, some really good people that have gone dry in terms of offensive droughts.
Now, Jack Eichel, who you mentioned, he did score on Saturday against Washington.
Mark Stone did break a long slump that he had where he scored twice against Edmonton.
And, you know, I just...
I see all of our top guys getting a little bit of a shot in the arm and whether that's just self-imposed accountability to try to do well or what exactly goes into that happening.
But I think we'll see our players play better.
