The Panorama documentary would reveal within days of this conversation how Daniel Kinahan was at the very top of boxing, world boxing.

It would go into his background and...

allegations as they were at the time that he was heading up the international cartel, the Kinahan Organised Crime Group.

The host of the documentary, Darren McIntyre, had travelled to the US where he'd called to the home of a guy called Bob Yallon, who was the new CEO of MTK.

And that's the boxing promotions and management company which was co-founded by Kinahan in 2012 in Spain, which had moved to Dubai and which Kinahan had taken a backseat from.

He was no longer, we were told at that point, involved in it.

And the documentary would reveal how MTK was hoovering up these boxers all over the world, giving them extremely generous terms and conditions.

There was an interview with Barry McGuigan in it.

One of his boxers had been, or a number actually of his boxers had been taken on by MTK and he was unhappy about it.

And he was kind of talking about how the figures didn't add up.

So it was going to be pretty explosive.

Now, Kinnahan can be under no illusion about how big the impact this is.

will make on what has been a sort of a carefully curated attempt to become the number one power broker in international boxing.

He's a businessman, as he goes on to tell you a number of times during the conversation.

But he knows really, he must know that his other career, which is that of an international drug dealer, is going to paint...

a bad picture of him being where he is in that sport.

But in his conversation with you, he really does his best to sound like he doesn't give a toss.
