And I suppose in relation to Daniel Kinahan, you know, it was that particular year where this file was starting to get underway.
And it really, in the early stages of that, it was amazing the lengths that
the investigators went to compiling information like just a couple of little things they went through every media article that was where the Kinahans were mentioned was one thing and everything was stockpiled but also retired detectives current you know Gardaí that had some dealings with Kinahan even when he was a kid or growing up and stuff like that they were asked in probably not in a formal way as such but to kind of give their thoughts on it
So it was, you know, it was from that, that, you know, that kind of base that ultimately led to the, you know, the massive file that got compiled and sent to the DPP then a number of years ago.
But it went on for years.
