You'll see his contempt, you know, we'll hear his contempt for the Irish media later.
But the only reason that he was engaging with me, who he rightly pointed out had been writing about him for well, well over a decade at that stage, I mean, was exactly because of this, what was going to happen on BBC, you know.
Yeah, he certainly thinks he's been treated very unfairly by the media.
He clearly feels he never got a break and stuff like that.
And, you know, he describes things as being like a witch hunt and so on.
And he's basically expressing the desire there.
Why would he ever come back to Ireland, I guess, you know?
He does.
He makes it very certain that he doesn't like our newspaper group.
But also, strangely, he's kind of suggesting, can I personally do stuff with him as in an interview and so on in some kind of other capacity?
But, like, I did obviously have to point out to him who my employers are, where.
And ultimately, I suppose we did get a statement.
So, I don't know, was it desperation that he was prepared to give it?
He made it clear he hates the organisation.

He would have been incredibly naive, I think.
