Yeah, so this was the evening of February 24th, 2021.

Niall, I think the country was still in COVID, a lockdown of some description.

And it was in the south inner city.

Reuben Street is actually where it happened.

And the 17-year-old who we can't name, the then 17-year-old, we can't name him because he was a juvenile when it happened.

Turns out he actually became involved in serious organised crime

crime himself later.

But on the night he was targeted and it was a complete targeted incident.

He was shot I think up to five times from a handgun after he left a property in a south-earth city and got into a taxi.

At the time, and we would have covered it as well, there was a lot of theories.

For example, there was other kind of shooting incidents going on in the same area.

Some of them linked to Freddie Thompson's son, Brad Dempsey, at the time.

And that seemed to be kind of a likely motive, possibly.

But as it turned out, a detailed investigation happened by Kevin Street.

And ultimately, two guys...

They're actually uncle and nephew, Jamie Barry and Stephen Mulvey.

They're both from the Pierce Street flats.
