So you've got a kind of a good mix of that boxing and the criminality that was going on.
And the reaction to it was pretty massive.
I mean, so that
I remember speaking to a number of people who were like telling me what was in it.
Yeah.
Like, you know, OK, we knew all of it because we've been working on this story, but it just opened it up to a wider public who hadn't maybe engaged with our journalism, but were able to engage with television.
It's the most powerful medium there is.
Now, the fallout included the General Secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control, Robert Smith, having to admit there was nothing the governing body could do to prevent continued involvement of Daniel Kinahan in the sport.
And he said a loophole in the board's regulations meant that the governing body was powerless when it came to regulating advisers, which, of course, is what...
had always come out.
And he added, rightly or wrongly, as far as I'm aware, he, Daniel Kinahan, has not been convicted of any offence.
That makes things very difficult.
And we have to let the authorities take the upper hand.
Obviously, there are things we are not happy about.
Things were raised last night, which gave us some concerns we may have to look into.
But ultimately, my feeling after watching it is that this is a matter for the Irish authorities.
